难得一见, Borland居然计划推出套件产品. BDS2006中包含如下内容: Borland  Delphi  2006, C++Builder  2006,  C#Builder  2006, 从构成上看, 基本上是面向Win32/.NET平台, 也就是针对MS的Visual Studio .NET 2005的, 直接支持VS.NET项目的导入和导出. 不知道效果如何.

如果单看这几个编译器, 含金量值得怀疑, C++ Builder似乎没有什么人使用了, Delphi目前是下坡路, C# Builder也不怎么叫座. 而这又基本上面向Desktop/Client市场, 试图在Server方面取得更大的地盘, BDS还是不够. 但是BDS中确实包含一些增值部分: Together, Interbase(下坡路), Visibroker, IntraWeb(Reloaded), StartTeam, CalibrerRM, etc

感觉在Windows平台上面, Borland永远只能跟在MS的后面, 即使Windows服务器能够走向高端市场, MS岂能把服务器的开发工具拱手让给Borland呢?

另外, 发现Borland居然在销售跨平台的Turbo C++, 售价49.99$, 有些动心了:-)
